Automotive Door Trim Panel Plastic Injection Mold
The automobile door trim panel plastic injection mold is a large, high-precision injection mold developed by Jingnan Mold for door interior trims. It is mainly used to produce cover panels and functional decorative parts on the inside of passenger car doors. The products formed by this mold not only affect the visual effect of the entire vehicle interior, but also affect the ride comfort and functional integration, such as armrests, audio holes, storage slots, etc.
From the perspective of mold manufacturing technology, the door trim panel has a complex structure, large size, and extremely high surface requirements, so the mold design needs to be extremely precise. Jingnan uses 3D CAD modeling + mold flow analysis software to simulate filling, pressure holding, cooling, and demolding in the early stage of the product to ensure that the mold gate position is scientific, the flow is uniform, and there is no short shot, gas mark or deformation.
The mold material is made of high-quality steel with good wear resistance and thermal conductivity. Through high-precision CNC processing, spark machine fine discharge, mirror polishing and other processes, the cavity details are accurate and the surface finish is high, meeting the requirements of secondary processing such as texture leather grain, spraying, and electroplating.
Jingnan also pays special attention to the design of the cooling system of the mold, using multi-point channels and uniform water channel layout to improve cooling efficiency, shorten the molding cycle, and ensure that the wall thickness of each finished product is uniform and the surface is free of ripples. The mold structure supports quick-change inserts and split demoulding mechanisms, which facilitates maintenance and rapid debugging, and improves production flexibility.
